The Secret to Inclusive Teams

Presented by OPM's Center for Leadership Development, Federal Executive Institute  |  May 5, 2021

Presenters: Janet Postier and Kathy Osvath

Humans are natural innovators. Every day we solve new problems, meet new challenges and pursue new opportunities. To do that, we tap our creativity, our own unique blend of vision and curiosity, realism and imagination, analysis and action.

While every human is hard-wired to think creatively, we all do it differently, so collaborating can be either rough or rewarding depending on your level of awareness. Recognizing your personal thinking style can help you understand how you instinctively approach a challenge. Understanding your own thinking preferences, biases, and blind spots can also help you collaborate more effectively with others.

Join CLD Faculty Janet Postier, PhD and Kathy Osvath as they explore the secret to collaborative problem solving and inclusive teams.
