Even before the current pandemic forced everyone to work remotely, organizations have increasingly offered remote options for employees to work from anywhere. That trend will continue and is likely to expand. Research shows remote workers can sometimes experience challenges, including isolation, loneliness, and burnout. This webinar will explore strategies for building a strong sense of community within a virtual working environment for teams to maximize their effectiveness.

Maria has been on the CLD faculty since 2016, providing training and coaching to senior executives in the federal government and facilitating programs on diversity, equity, and inclusion, intercultural competence, innovation and change, and conflict management.

In her sixteen-year career, Maria has worked with such diverse clients as theWorld Bank, U.S. Department of State, US Agency for International Development, Department of the Navy, Office of Director of National Intelligence, National Security Agency, National Science Foundation, National Institutes of Health, Association of Women Geoscientists, Library of Congress, U.S. Postal Service, Transurban Development, and Delta Airlines. She has worked with leaders around the world, including India, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Mexico, Thailand, Colombia, and Tunisia.
