As organizations increasingly transition to virtual teams, leaders are responsible for ensuring equitable and inclusive practices and behaviors among the team. Unconscious bias and micro-expressions are present even in our virtual interactions, and can erode morale and productivity if they go unaddressed.

In her sixteen-year career, Maria has worked with such diverse clients as theWorld Bank, U.S. Department of State, US Agency for International Development, Department of the Navy, Office of Director of National Intelligence, National Security Agency, National Science Foundation, National Institutes of Health, Association of Women Geoscientists, Library of Congress, U.S. Postal Service, Transurban Development, and Delta Airlines. She has worked with leaders around the world, including India, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Mexico, Thailand, Colombia, and Tunisia. |
