When faced with change or challenge, most animals have three responses: fight, flight or freeze. Humans have four responses: fight, flight, freeze or innovate. That fourth response has turned out to be quite an evolutionary advantage for us.

Today we will look at how innovation happens—in other words we will look at the creative process. While every human is hard-wired to think creatively and solve problems, each person engages in the process in one of four unique ways.  When working with others, differing approaches can lead to conflict.  However, effective collaboration begins once you understand your preferred way to engage in the creative process and recognize the preference of others.

Join CLD Faculty Janet Postier, Ph.D. and Kathy Osvath to explore these four preferences of the creative process and discover the secret to solving challenges effectively as a team.
