Joe is an Education Program managing director with the Office of Personnel Management’s Center for Leadership Development-Denver. For 11 years, Joe’s consultation work with OPM has included specialized leadership and development training for unique agencies such as Special Operations Command, North American Aerospace Defense Command, Southern Command, Central Command, the Navy Office of Inspector General, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Prior to joining OPM, Joe’s leadership experience has stemmed from diverse opportunities in both the private and public sector, where he ran a large corporate university and served with two metro-Denver, Colorado fire departments, retiring as Fire Chief in 2000. A U.S. Army Vietnam-Era Veteran, Joe is a graduate of the 101st Airborne Division's Leadership School and the 1st Armored Division’s Noncommissioned Office Leadership Academy. Having published more than fifty articles on leadership and administrative management, Joe has also earned a Master of Business Administration, and completed PhD courses at the University of Colorado and Michigan State. |
