Overview:
As a mid-level government leader, you have the power to be a catalyst for innovation, efficiency, and progress. Tap into your full potential and invoke the best of who you are with OPM’s Mid-Level Leadership Development Program (M-LDP). This six-month virtual cohort equips you to influence your organization’s culture while leading transformational changes in support of the mission. Using the “whole person” model as framework, the program elevates your self-awareness while guiding you in recognizing others’ strengths, characteristics, personalities, and differences. Through the lens of the model’s four dimensions – intellectual, emotional, physical, and behavioral – you’ll learn to engage your teams and foster innovative thinking more effectively. With integrated assessments and coaching, you’ll better understand yourself as a leader while developing the competencies research shows are essential for success in senior-level leadership positions.

How You Will Benefit:

Through interactive presentations, small-group work, and practical application, you’ll develop leadership skills while building long-term relationships and networks. This program will help you:
  • Inspire others to become stronger leaders by exploring and understanding your own leadership behaviors.
  • Improve your leadership and communication styles so others view you as the example to follow.
  • Enhance your ability to negotiate and influence others by learning and employing best practices from your peers.
  • Develop critical competencies proven to drive success in senior leadership roles.
