Dining and Breakout Service
Meals
Meals are served daily in the Rotunda Dining Room, located on the bottom floor of the Main Building, adjacent to the Alumni Lounge. The Monticello Room in Gwin Hall is also used to serve meals when multiple programs are on campus simultaneously.
The
cost of meals is included in your tuition fee and tipping is not allowed.
The
timing of meal service is described in your program’s overview schedule.
Normal
times for meals in the Rotunda Dining Room are as follow*:
- Breakfast is served from 7:00 - 8:00 a.m.
- Snack service (fruit, juice, coffee, tea, etc.) from 7:00 a.m. – 8:15 p.m. is provided in the Alumni Room and Gwin Hall lobby.
- Lunch is served from 12:00 - 1:15 p.m.
- Salad bar is available from 12:00 - 1:30 p.m.
- Dinner is served from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.
*Any
changes in the times above will be announced or noted in the program overview
schedule.
Food
Preferences and Accommodations
Please
list any special dietary needs or accommodations when updating your personal information
prior to your arrival. Participants with special dietary requirements should
also contact the Program Coordinator upon arriving.
Bag
Lunches
Another
lunchtime dining option is to order a bag lunch. To request a bag lunch, sign
the roster posted outside the Rotunda Dining Room by 9:00 a.m. on the day you
want the bag lunch. Bag lunches will be
place in the Alumni Room by 12:00 p.m. for pick-up. Please return your labeled
bag to the same location so it can be reuse during the program.
Breakout
Service
Breakout
service is provided mid-morning and mid- afternoon and includes coffee, tea,
juices, etc. and a variety of snacks. Bringing your own water bottle or travel
mug is encouraged.
